As a Veterans Clinical Advisor you will:
- Act as the single initial point of contact between the with the resultant long-term health issues, and the NHS, integrating Help for Heroes input to the medical pathway with the Recovery MDT process.
- Where appropriate develop and coordinate a Veterans Injury Clinic alongside the NHS.
- Provide Clinical advice and support to the veterans, their families/support network and Help for Heroes staff.

Are you an ambitious and dynamic fundraiser looking for your next role? We are looking for an experienced fundraiser to join our team, reporting to the Head of Marketing, to help increase and diversify income for The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre to support people coming to terms with a cancer diagnosis.
Focusing on building new relationships and developing high-level, multi-year partnerships, the role holder will be responsible for corporate fundraising, managing all income streams, regular donations, bucket collections, one off donations and funds generated from third party engagement. Kids in Need of Defense UK is a collaboration between four award-winning, UK based not for profits that specialise in children’s immigration and asylum law. This is a key role for which we’re seeking a suitably qualified and experienced immigration adviser. They will be responsible for providing an excellent frontline service to KIND UK clients, leading on all matters relating to the assessment and triage of new referrals to the service.

Responsibilities:
- Assess referrals which have been flagged for legal advice by KIND UK administrators, for merit and suitability for the KIND UK project

The Team

Job Summary

- Support, develop and supervise staff, students and volunteers building a strong and dynamic team culture, and ensure the Team understands, recognises, and meets the needs and expectations of akt’s service users.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
To succeed in this role you'll have a good understanding of funding/proposal preparation processes and experience in securing funding opportunities in the range of £50k-£100k.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience of successfully cultivating relationships with funders such as trust, foundations, local authorities, corporates and major donors.
Whilst experience of securing funding from research institutions and knowledge of England's education and charity sectors are desirable, it is not essential for applying to this role.

This role will be a critical part of the Philanthropy & Partnerships management team and represents a brilliant opportunity to support the growth and development of our major donor, trust and statutory and corporate partnerships portfolios.
Working with key stakeholders from across the organisation, the postholder will play a lead role in the development and delivery of an ambitious stewardship and events programme, offering a range of activities to engage and inspire supporters, and ensure that they are connected to, and inspired by, the work of Refugee Council.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing a special events programme to support cultivation and income generation, as well as of developing engaging and relevant donor and prospect communications. They will also have experience of leading on the conceptualisation, planning and delivery of a range of event types, from small, intimate dinners to large receptions and be adept at creating and managing a monitoring and evaluation framework to track activity and apply lessons learned to future activities. They will also be comfortable working with senior leaders within Refugee Council, as well as corporate leaders, parliamentarians and other influential people, alongside having a sound understanding of the principles and impact of exemplary stewardship and cultivation of supporters and prospects.
Refugee Council will provide the most moving and diverse case for support. Cases that encompass innovative external affairs campaigns aimed at engaging policy makers and the public.

The Bromley by Bow Social Prescribing service provides:
• Rapid social prescribing: Urgent, one-off support often around isolation, food, money and medication. People are contacted within two day.
• General social prescribing: Longer term emotional and practical support. People are contacted within two weeks and offered three to six sessions to explore challenges, set goals and offered a coaching style of support.
• Social welfare advice social prescribing: Specialist support delivered by a qualified social welfare advisor to address housing and benefit needs.
• Mental Health Community Connectors: Supporting people with serious mental illness (SMI) to achieve better mental health and wellbeing, increasing independence and reducing reliance on services.
• Community self-referrals: Designated link worker receiving social prescribing self-referrals from the Centre.

As Service Manager, you’ll support your team and be responsible for overseeing support, advice and assistance to beneficiaries who are/have been living on the streets so that they are able to access and maintain a safe and secure home of their own.
