About the role
Working across the Crisis Brent teams you will lead on the delivery of our volunteer programme and member involvement opportunities. You will be responsible for the recruitment of new volunteers, the support of existing volunteers and volunteer supervisors to maintain a positive volunteer experience. You will work across teams to ensure volunteer’s experience of volunteering is positive and play a key role in volunteer retention. You will be collaborative and dynamic in working with the team to identify and develop new volunteering opportunities. You will have the ability and confidence to increase the diversity and variety of our volunteering opportunities to reflect our local community and better serve our members. You will be flexible and innovative in reaching a diverse group of people from across the local community.
You will have experience of working with people who are social excluded and have lived experience of homelessness. You will understand the importance of delivering equitable services and can empower our members to share their experience and contribute to continuous service adaptations and improvements. You will be creative and inclusive in establishing Brent-specific member involvement opportunities so members can influence our service locally. You will work across teams to ensure we deliver our service with people experiencing homelessness, instead of delivering a service to people experiencing homelessness. You will work with the central Crisis team to respond to member involvement opportunities, influencing policy and providing members with the opportunity to share their story with the wider public and media.

Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to live independently. Support workers must monitor and assess the needs of the customers and provide creative and tailored person centred support to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.

Role Purpose
To develop and deliver all aspects of our Grandmentors project across London, ensuring it achieves its aims, objectives, outcomes, and targets. The post holder will work closely with the Virtual College and Leaving Care teams within London Borough Councils and local volunteers to ensure that we improve and empower the lives of care leavers (aged 16-25) through the unique power of inter-generational mentoring.
Key Duties Responsibilities
· To effectively deliver the service to ensure the project meets its agreed targets and millstones.
· Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and local authority staff at a day-to day level.
· To ensure volunteers are recruited, appropriately trained and supported in their role; this will involve processing volunteer expenses, DBS checks and maintaining databases.
· To ensure regular communication between project staff and volunteers is maintained and that regular supervision for volunteers is provided.
· To work with your line manager to ensure project expenditure is in line with the budget.
· To maintain accurate administration, for all aspects of the project.
· To maintain accurate records on all aspects of the project and submit data onto a secure database.
· To manage and maintain effective monitoring and evaluation records to capture impact and outcomes and ensure contractual compliance.
· To implement and maintain appropriate risk assessment management processes.
· To prepare regular reports including quarterly progress updates, impact reports and end of year reports for both internal and external purposes.
· To develop relevant information to promote and raise the profile of Volunteering Matters locally.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Age UK Westminster is seeking a Digital Inclusion Coordinator to join our home visiting digital inclusion team funded by Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster Social Isolation project supports and enhances existing Older Adult Mental Health services provided by CNWL by providing targeted outreach digital inclusion support to vulnerable older people with the aim of reducing the impact of loneliness and isolation. As a Support Advisor working full time or part time, you will be a fundamental part of our team, supporting the delivery of the RISE programmes and the development of the service. The service will provide a range of trauma-informed and person-centred support, focused on supporting those impacted by abuse to access education, training, employment or volunteering.
You will be responsible for providing trauma informed support through group work and 1-1 support. Working part time or full time alongside a team of practitioners across our geographical patch in Gloucester, providing support to Bristol and North Wilts as required, the project aims to:
- Increase volunteers in FearFree and support people to access volunteering opportunities externally.

Job Description
To take the lead in recruiting volunteers across Yellow Submarine’s projects and activities and provide support to volunteers enabling them to carry out their roles through training and pastoral support.

The Role

- Support CEO to develop a sustainable funding model required to deliver IMO’s youth employment programme. This will include working with the team to conduct a review of costs to deliver an effective programme over the next 3 years
- Contribute to an income generation strategy for the youth employment programme
Wider organisational responsibilities
- Work to identify and incorporate youth voice into IMO’s work, including by encouraging candidates to share their stories, challenges and feedback on our services
- Help to secure and create case studies and other content for IMO’s social media channels, website and blogs that communicates the charity’s objectives, activities, impact and contributes to raising the profile of the charity

Successful candidates must demonstrate:
- A genuine commitment to IMO Charity’s mission and passion for our work
- Deep knowledge, understanding and empathy of the challenges facing the programme’s target demographic, with a focus on delivering impactful youth employment programmes
- 3+ years’ experience of designing, developing and managing programmes with multiple workstreams for young people
- 3+ years’ experience of leading, line managing, training and developing delivery staff
- Strong background in monitoring performance, using databases/CRM systems and reporting on outcomes
- Using data and considering stakeholder needs and expectations to inform decisions and implementing corrective actions
- Thorough understanding of safeguarding policies and experience managing concerns and implementing procedures
- Ability to establish and maintain effective external partnerships to achieve organisational aims, ideally including schools, community organisations and employers
- An ability to work proactively, manage multiple priorities, and use initiative to find effective solutions to problems
- Excellent organisation and administration skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to empathise with others
- An understanding of and commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in programme delivery and the workplace
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- A willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check
