The Yehudi Menuhin School based in Stoke D’Abernon, Cobham is seeking an experienced Trusts and Foundations Manager to have a significant impact on the lives of our current and future pupils. The Yehudi Menuhin School operates a needs-blind admissions process, and we remain determined that no pupil should ever turn down a place at YMS due to a lack of funding. More than 90% of pupils need help to take up their place, and grants from trusts and foundations are a vital source of income for our Bursary Fund, as well as a range of other projects and activities that are of direct benefit to our pupils.
You will join the Development team at an exciting time for the School. Under new leadership and with pupil numbers at an all-time high, fundraising continues to play a crucial role in securing the future of musical education and helping to develop the next generation of classical musicians. Our strategy is focused on reaching out to new donors, as well as continuing to engage our loyal body of current supporters, including several engaged grant-making trusts and foundations.
You will build on an existing portfolio of organisations that donate between four and six-figures. Your ability to develop significant, multi-year relationships with new trusts and foundations will be critical to your success. The School has also previously secured a grant from the DCMS Culture Recovery Fund, managed by the Arts Council, opening the door to possible future funding from statutory sources, which would also fall under your responsibility. This is a key role in making The Yehudi Menuhin School’s strategic priorities a reality on the ground. You will need to be proactive, enterprising and systematic in approaching funders, and be able to engage and manage internal stakeholders.
This is a permanent position, working 9.00am until 5.30pm 4 or 5 days per week. Some flexibility will be required to attend evening and weekend concerts and events at YMS and in London.
The salary is competitive, based on experience.

The Role: As the Refuge Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering tailored emotional and practical support to women and children living in our refuge. Your work will range from providing safety advice and emotional support to practical assistance like securing move-on housing, advocating with other agencies, and coordinating resettlement support. - Provide guidance to support clients to stay in existing work, including advice on mental health disclosure, negotiating reasonable adjustments to existing workplaces, creating wellness action plans and improving productivity, support to return to work after sickness absence or to leave an existing role with dignity, and signpost clients to organisations that can represent them (EAs should only look to represent clients in exceptional circumstances).
- Facilitate access to other advice in areas such as financial benefits, debt management, food banks and community food outlets and social housing providers, as necessary.
The role holder must also:
- NVQ Level 3 minimum or equivalent in either employment support/advice, mental health or other relevant area, or equivalent experience gained through work experience in the field.
- Understanding and experience of the support needs of people with common mental health conditions in finding, retaining, returning to, or leaving mainstream employment.
- Knowledge and experience of working in a health or social care setting.
- Evidence of basic counselling skills.
- Ability to assess individual client strengths and needs in relation to employment and think creatively to provide bespoke client action planning and solutions.

Union Chapel has been running an important project to assist asylum seekers resident in Islington contingency hotels.
With funding made available by Islington Council, we provide wraparound support in the form of orientation workshops; health and wellbeing; information relating to the asylum process; ESOL classes; social activities and befriending.

The Role
The Philanthropic Partnerships Assistant plays an important role in supporting the financial sustainability objectives of GGF UK. The postholder is responsible for managing a portfolio of trust and foundations partnerships giving up to $200,000 per year, and will also be responsible for stewarding our portfolio of individual giving supporters donating up to £10,000 per year. The role also contributes to GGF UK’s communications activity in collaboration with our global Communications function, as well as contributing to ensuring that the organisation’s fundraising activity is supported with robust infrastructure and processes.
The position reports to the Head of Philanthropic Partnerships, and works closely with colleagues across Global Greengrants Fund UK and Global Greengrants Fund Inc.
The candidate profile.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in fundraising from trusts, foundations, and/or individual donors, ideally within environmental, international, or rights-based organisations. They will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and time management skills, effectively prioritising tasks to deliver excellent results within a complex, varied, and time-sensitive workload.
With excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, the candidate will have a proven ability to create compelling proposals, presentations, reports, and other materials. They will possess strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Google Apps, and collaboration tools like Trello and Slack, along with experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems. The candidate will have a strong understanding of and commitment to environmental and social justice, with some knowledge of the issues addressed by Global Greengrants Fund. Additionally, they will have experience working with diverse global communities in a virtual environment.
The ideal candidate will be committed to shifting power in philanthropy, promoting trust-based and power-shifting approaches to philanthropy and grantmaking. Our Technical Knowledge team oversees Blue Ventures’ technical pillars (Secure Rights, Community-Based Fisheries Management, Food Security and Financial Inclusion) and supports the use of data for decision-making, providing tools, training, and guidance to partners and Blue Ventures’ staff around the world. FareShare Midlands is the region’s largest food redistribution charity. We take good-to-eat surplus food from the food industry and get it to our Members - frontline charities and community groups all over the Midlands. We turn an environmental problem into a social solution.
Last year we redistributed almost 5,794 tonnes of food from our warehouses in Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham. It is sorted and stored by our dedicated teams of staff and volunteers, and then redistributed to around 800 Members including food pantries and cafes, homeless shelters and drop-in centres.
These local organisations turn the food into food parcels, affordable shopping and delicious meals for people of all ages. As well as food, our Members provide vital support to families and the elderly, many of whom are facing challenging circumstances and living in poverty.
Last year our food reached more than 83,000 vulnerable people every week, providing 13 million meals. At the same time, we are growing our Employability Programmes to help people gain work experience, skills and jobs.

The Role
To undertake all aspects of warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient distribution of food each day. You will have responsibility for coordination of our food stock, from goods-in to picking, dispatch and stock rotation and will be expected to drive vans, and Fork Lift Trucks (training will be provided). Working closely with the wider team and volunteers, you will also support the monitoring and utilisation of warehouse space, stock, deliveries and collections to ensure food reaches its destination amongst our members safely, on time and in full.

· Undertake all warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient co-ordination and distribution and of food
· To work to performance indicators so that stock is accurate and delivery routes are efficient to allow the organisation to grow

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Technical Knowledge and will be based in one of our regional hubs, with regular overseas travel to work with partners and field teams around the world.
The core technical scope of the role’s portfolio will include:
- Data-driven assessments and interventions to improve food security and nutrition for healthy and resilient fishing communities, including nutrition education and supporting nutrition-sensitive fisheries management measures;
- Interventions to improve nutrition and financial returns for fishers operating in low-resource, data-limited fisheries, including through improved fishing techniques, transport, storing, processing, and marketing;
- Following and informing best practice and policy for improving fisher’s nutritional and financial returns.

The Hepatitis C Trust has developed projects nationally whereby peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training to service users and staff in drug and alcohol, hostel and homeless services, increasing hepatitis C awareness, access to testing and referral to treatment, for people living with hepatitis C.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled peer lead who has excellent communication and organisational skills. We require a good standard of education and welcome creativity and innovation in all our work.
Working under the guidance of the Peer Programme Manager, this post will continue the development of the project, recruiting and coordinating peers across Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan. Working in partnership with hepatitis C clinical teams, drug and alcohol services and homeless service providers, the post will coordinate delivery of awareness raising workshops, hepatitis C testing with a focus on local prisons and community criminal justice settings, ensure that service users are referred and supported through hepatitis C treatment and care.
