About the role
As an Engagement and Assessment Worker, you will be part of Crisis Skylight Brent’s Engagement and Assessment Team, providing a high quality, non-judgemental and safe service to individuals who approach our Skylight Centre. Engagement and Assessment Workers are the first point of contact for a range of enquiries from people who are experiencing homelessness for the first time, individuals with complex and multiple needs, visitors, volunteers, and supporters. You will be providing information about Crisis’ services, delivering a high-quality triage and assessment service, and offering Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) on local homelessness and other related services. You will also manage a small caseload.
Crisis uses a case management approach, and the successful candidate will attend case management meetings, reflective practice, and team meetings. You will also work collaboratively with external partners and Crisis Skylight Brent’s Coaching and Learning Teams.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

Experience of working with homeless or other vulnerable groups and understanding of the importance of respecting confidentiality, showing empathy and sensitivity, and working in a boundary way

Experience of assessing presenting needs and working in a Psychologically Informed Environment, and in a way that ensures that members with all levels of need can access the service.

Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering the highest standard of customer care and high quality IAG.

Good knowledge of homelessness, housing and welfare legislation and Safeguarding procedures

Strong interpersonal skills including effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to deal with challenging situations with a calm approach.

Ability to manage a caseload, and successful relationships with external service providers and partners.

Position: S11214 Stroke Association Support Coordinator
Location: Homebased South of Tyne & Wear. However, frequent travel will be required as part of this role (May include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

The Role

The Group Finance Director holds a key role in the executive team in the Foundation Office of the Charity. They are accountable for all matters relating to the UWGCF Charity finance, including the oversight of school income, endowment investments, loans, subsidiary companies, VAT, and the leadership of the Foundation finance team. The starting point of this work is the planning and pilot of STEP Online, an intensive version of STEP to fast track those who are highly skilled. We plan to explore, test and plan for this programme in consultancy with Spring Impact, leveraging their Lean Impact Methodology.
The post holder will play a pivotal role in leading this piece of work with two main objectives:
- Explore, test and plan for STEP Online. This will involve being the lead implementer of testing minimum viable products, participating in workshops and identified working groups, and co-leading on test coaching sessions and team reflections with Spring Impact.
- Establish and build internal capacity and development for Lean Impact. This includes supporting a discipline of continuous testing and learning at World Jewish Relief to be able to rapidly trial, refine and scale other models across the organisation on a longer-term basis.
About you
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Experience developing and implementing innovative and community-centred learning practices, including designing prototypes, data collection, analysis and using a high level of numeracy to make data-driven decisions to build impactful solutions (i.e., Lean Impact, Equity-Centred Design, Human Centred Design).
- Proven experience in managing projects from initiation to completion, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource management.
- Experience working on projects for people who have experienced forced migration, particularly, in the refugee employment sphere would be desirable.

We are seeking additional experienced Associate Independent Investigating Officers (IO) for Complaints, to increase our capacity to respond to referrals from Local Authorities to provide an independent element to the formal Stage 2 investigations under the Children Act 1989.
The IO will lead investigations, and will give the complainant (who may be a child, young person or adult) the opportunity to express their view, ensure the child or young person’s rights and best interests are at the centre of the investigation and that the investigation/review process is open and transparent. They write a report on the investigation/review, which is submitted to the referring agency.
The Job Description document sets out the expectations for an Associate Independent Person for Complaints (IPC) who is approved by Coram Voice. IPCs are independent, freelance and responsible for their own work. Nevertheless, IPCs are accountable to the organisation for their professional standards and are expected to comply with Coram Voice Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines.
Please Note: the nature of associate work means that we cannot guarantee a regular amount of work, and complaints will be allocated dependent on the associate’s availability, location and the needs and demands of the individual case. We are looking for a Corporate Performance and Reporting Manager in our Clerk of the Parliament’s Office at the House of Lords. This is an exciting opportunity to use your strong analytical skills and flair for communicating and engaging a range of stakeholders, to drive progress against our strategic objectives and report on our performance.
This is a hybrid working opportunity where you will work on-site at Parliament 3 days per week, with 2 days per week working remotely. This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys working with varied and high volumes of data, can build strong relationships across a large organisation and can work in a fast-paced, unique environment.
You’ll be accountable for –
- Acting as operational lead for the Administration’s approach to corporate performance management, including the implementing and reviewing of the House’s performance management framework.
- Building partnerships with Heads of Office, service leads and others across the House to embed, co-ordinate and continuously improve performance metrics and baseline performance.
- Providing a leading voice in the co-production of the quarterly performance report to the Management Board and Finance Committee.
- Embedding performance measuring and reporting approaches that meet the best functional standards, using a range of management data to provide accessible and actionable insights.
- Working with other colleagues across Parliament to help to ensure that other performance monitoring processes allow for comparison.
- Working with Parliamentary Digital Service, and the House of Commons to develop common practices for Corporate Performance Management across Parliament.

What we’re looking for
- Corporate Performance Management knowledge including relevant experience of corporate performance management and corporate governance processes.
- Strong Analytical Skills including the ability to gather and interpret complex information from a range of sources with differing data quality, visualising data to present the data in a meaningful way to both technical & non-technical audiences.
- Communication Skills such as the ability to find accessible, insightful and creative ways to present data in order to support the production of timely, credible and concise reports through a range of delivery modes.
- Building stakeholder relationships, with experience of developing effective working relationships and working collaboratively across a range of stakeholders in a complex environment, including with senior managers.
- Personal effectiveness with excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage your own time and deal effectively with conflicting demands.
- Organisation and forward planning including experience of planning schedules of work and liaising with others to ensure deadlines are set, maintained, and met.

About the NEL VCSE Collaborative
The North East London (NEL) Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Collaborative works closely with the ICB to work together strategically by shaping, improving and delivering services and contributes to the system design and organisational development of the ICB, ensuring Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) contribution.
The leadership group of the seven borough representatives meets monthly and is currently working to develop a VCFSE strategy to raise the profile of the sector and support the VCFSE to work in partnership with the health system to address local health inequalities and improve the health outcomes of the communities in NEL. Purpose of the role
- Provide influential and inspirational leadership to ensure the Voluntary, Community, Faith & Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector is an equal partner in the North East London (NEL) Integrated Care Partnerhsup (ICP).
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with health and social care stakeholders ensuring networks are kept informed of the Collaborative’s progress
- Advocate for the VCFSE sector and mobilise innovative approaches to support the health and wellbeing of NEL community
- To lead the NEL VCSE Collaborative, interfacing with the Partnership Development Director to drive forward the interests of the NEL VCSE Collaborative and the wider VCFSE sector it represents
- To act on behalf and represent the opinions and interests of the NEL VCSE Collaborative on relevant ICS boards, in particular as the NEL VCSE Collaborative representative on the NEL ICP

Key functions & Tasks (Role Description)
- To lead with compassion and inspiration to ensure strategic influence of VCFSE at system level to better enable integrated working approaches between system leaders and sector partners
- Work with the NEL VCSE Collaborative members to ensure they are effectively represented and actively involved across the structures that form the ICS
- Together with the Partnership Development Director, produce a quarterly budget report and regular updates including emerging opportunities and risks in a timely fashion

Person Specification
- Demonstrable understanding and experience of the current and emerging challenges and opportunities within the regional Health and Care system and the local VCFSE

The Child and Family Specialist role is part of an exciting and innovative partnership with the London Borough of Ealing to provide an early intervention service in the community and in schools to children, young people and their families. The Ealing Early Intervention Service has been commissioned to provide direct and systemic work to address moderate mental health needs.
The Child and Family Specialist will work in partnership with schools, children and families to assess and respond to the psychological needs of children experiencing social, emotional, mental health or behavioural difficulties through undertaking assessments and providing interventions. The post-holder will also: provide specialist advice and support to school staff in the identification of mental health needs of children and accessing appropriate resources; and actively contribute to outcome monitoring and service improvement.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a commissioned service delivering direct interventions for young people and their families. The post-holder will offer a range of clinical activities to address mental health needs in children and young people, including direct individual and group work with young people and parents/carers and joint work with other professionals. The clinical case presentation is mostly moderate risk and requires insight into handling complex clinical cases (e.g. neurodiverse and trauma-inform practice) and appropriate responses to safeguarding concerns.
The Child and Family Specialist will join a small team of 12 people in a fast-paced working dynamic. The post-holder will be supported through supervision and will deliver consultation, training, and workshops to non-mental health staff.
