This is an income generating role with sales targets for BeyondAutism’s Outreach Services – BeyondAutism Fast Responder®, Outreach and Training. Working closely with the Outreach and Marketing teams you will be responsible for ensuring that service level agreements are signed within 14 days of issue, that subscriptions are renewed and for building strong customer relationships.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of People and Culture will work in a spirit of mutual accountability with fellow directors, taking strategic leadership of Turn2us’s People and Culture Directorate. You’ll have responsibility for strengthening our culture and supporting all our people managers to attract, develop and retain colleagues who are committed to our values and guiding principles.

Through our 6 week course we help them to feel calm, confident, to have positive thoughts about themselves, to have higher self esteem and trust in others. We work with over 2000 children and young people across the UK every year and have reached over 14,000 over the past 14 years.

The role:
We’re seeking an engaging, organised and experienced individual to join our fantastic Mass Fundraising team on a 6-month fixed term contract!
This role is integral to the delivery of our ambitious Mass Participation fundraising budget. You will support on the delivery of new and existing insight-led fundraising products and reaching targets. About the role
As a Housing First Coach you will deliver high quality person-centred support, using psychologically and trauma informed approaches, in line with Housing First principles. You will take a bold approach to establishing open and trusting relationships with people who have had long histories of homelessness or in temporary/insecure accommodation, enabling them to access and sustain accommodation and empower them to exercise choice and control over their lives. The team is multi-disciplinary – Coaches, Peer Support Worker, Clinical Psychologist – which allows us to collaboratively formulate innovative approaches to support. The team operates across London, providing numerous opportunities to build impactful partnerships and contribute towards systems change.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter, flexible and have experience of working collaboratively as part of a team and with internal and external partners. You may have a background in housing/homelessness support, adult safeguarding, drug or alcohol recovery services or mental health and have significant experience of working within a multidisciplinary setting with the ability to create strong professional relationships and creative solutions. You will have experience of working with people who have faced severe and multiple exclusion and who may have ‘complex needs’; with an understanding of the needs of people who have been homeless for long periods of time. You will be willing and able to provide practical assistance with moving into and maintaining a home – including direct help where necessary with tasks such as shopping, budgeting, cooking, and cleaning. You will also have a knowledge of Housing First and Housing Led approaches and the ability to work within a psychologically informed approach.

As a key member of our small, dedicated team, you will be instrumental in developing and marketing Icon membership while delivering exceptional customer service. Your role involves proactively engaging with members by processing their applications, managing renewals, addressing inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks.
In addition to member engagement, you will contribute to Icon’s communications and marketing efforts. You will use a blend of digital and analogue media to enhance Icon’s visibility both within the cultural heritage sector and beyond. Your support in executing marketing activities will be crucial in driving our broader growth ambitions.
This role is based at Icon’s office in Farringdon, London. Icon operates a hybrid working policy, which requires staff to be in the office at least two days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder.
The post-holder will report directly to the Marketing and Membership Manager.
Specific duties
Membership services
- Processing membership applications.
- Maintaining accurate membership records on the CRM system (Ready Membership).
- Responding to enquiries from prospective members, existing members, colleagues and the general public within agreed customer service timeframes.
Data management
- Effectively use data analytics to understand impact and success rates and deliver informative regular reporting against agreed KPIs.
Content and communications
- Working collaboratively with the wider Icon Team to develop the annual communications plan in line with the annual operational plan.
- Developing, commissioning and delivering the production of content for Icon’s website and Social Media channels in line with communications plan.
- Maintaining and updating Icon’s website in line with analytics data and communications plan.
- Developing and issuing Icon’s monthly internal and external email newsletters.
Marketing
- Contributing to the implementation of Icon’s Membership Growth Strategy by assisting with the development of recruitment campaigns.
- Supporting the implementation of marketing plans and promotional ideas.
- Supporting the development of Icon’s Social Media strategy and contribute to Icon’s Email Marketing strategy by utilising external newsletters to support broader advocacy work and marketing lead generation.
- Coordinating Icon’s presence at partner and sector events, including the design and production of marketing collateral, ensuring a visible presence and effective contribution is achieved.
Other
- Support Icon’s 28 special interest groups, including responding to queries and administering and promoting group events.
- Actively contributing to the development of marketing and communication initiatives relating to wider activity within Icon.

Your key responsibilities will be flexible. You’ll manage your workload and set objectives, priorities and deadlines with the Head of Fundraising. Your work will include:

Partnerships Fundraising: You’ll lead and grow our partnerships fundraising portfolio by nurturing existing relationships and identifying new prospective partnerships. Events Fundraising: You will manage our fundraising events, including the London Marathon. This will include recruitment, resourcing, relationship-building and supporting our event participants in their fundraising efforts. We are also excited for you to develop and oversee other innovative and profitable one-off events.

Fundraising Management: You will monitor and report on fundraising activities, manage relevant website pages, and ensure effective administration and record-keeping. You’ll need to stay abreast of industry trends and react accordingly to maximize opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Overseeing the recruitment, onboarding, training and daily management of Volunteers and Charity staff.
- Ensuring that the Hub serves as a dynamic space, offering essential information for all and providing engaging activities for patients and families, so they can learn more about GOSH Charity.
