We are working on a very incredible opportunity for an ambitious Proposition Development Manager to join a newly created team and support the development and delivery of Prostate Cancer UK’s first Major Appeal. Prostate Cancer UK supports all dads, brothers, partners and friends, by funding life-changing research, campaigning for change and providing much needed support.

You will be joining a newly created team within the fundraising directorate and will work alongside the high-value teams to provide them with the highest quality of funding propositions and the engagement & stewardship materials required to create transformative partnerships with businesses, HNWI’s, trusts & foundations. This is a crucial role in not only supporting an ambitious high value fundraising strategy, but also in developing Prostate Cancer UK’s first Major Appeal by creating the Appeal case for support.

To be successful in the role of Proposition Development Manager, you will need: 

• Specialist knowledge of high-value fundraising
• Demonstrable experience building compelling cases for support, bids and partnership concepts for major donors, companies, and/or grant funders  
• Ability to translate complex information into simple concise and compelling communications in a range of formats

We are currently recruiting for a new Marketing & Communications Executive.

Reporting to the Communications & Engagement Manager, you'll help us to produce a social media strategy that aims to develop CSSC's accounts across multiple platforms. You'll also support on the strategy and production of member email communications across CSSC, including automations, national and local emails. You'll also help us engage and develop our online communities whilst growing CSSC's brand reach.

Key accountabilities 

• Act as a brand guardian of CSSC, ensuring all communications meet the highest quality marketing standards, in addition to being consistent with in-house tone and branding. 

• Actively reviewing our member communications calendar, ensuring content is scheduled across our communication channels in line with our partners and wider campaigns. 

• Track, measure and report on social media and email communications.

• Ensuring Service Level Agreements are met across our social and email channels.

What's on offer:

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. In 2024 we embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

About the role 

As Crisis’ Media Officer, you will play a key role in securing impactful media coverage that inspires the public and politicians to join our fight to end homelessness by raising awareness of our influencing campaigns and fundraising events. You will help to build Crisis’ profile by bringing to life our work, demonstrating how we end people’s homelessness for good through education, training and support with housing, employment, and health.

Your role will be creative and varied. You’ll work with our frontline staff to identify people facing homelessness who want to share their stories and empower them to do so. At Crisis we always champion the voices and experiences of the people who we support. You’ll help create bold and hard-hitting news stories to engage our audiences and bring to life some of our biggest organisational campaigns, like our annual Christmas appeal. You will also help make the most of reactive opportunities that come through to our press office and help build relationships with key journalists. 

About you 

You will have: 

• Experience of working within a busy press office environment/ PR agency or as a journalist. 

• Experience of supporting with or delivering impactful media campaigns or stories that have helped secure quality coverage in national and regional news outlets, as well as softer consumer features.

• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging copy for a range of audiences, including political, consumer, tabloid, trade and everything in between. 

• Experience of working with case studies, identifying and preparing stories for the media and empowering people to share their experiences.

• Strong news sense, with a good working knowledge of the UK media, including digital media production, with experience of creating digital first coverage and amplifying campaign messages creatively in the digital sphere.

Millfield is now seeking to appoint an exceptional Director of Development to take the lead in delivering its future fundraising and stakeholder relations strategies. Reporting to the Headmaster and as a member of the Executive Group, the Director will be responsible for further developing relations with a broad network of alumni, friends and supporters (nationally and internationally) and delivering a £multi-million fundraising campaign for transformational bursaries in recognition of the school’s 100th anniversary in 2035.

Responsibilities

Administrative support:

• Assist the Production Manager with mailing specifications, collating internal information, creating purchase orders, and related administration.
• Support the Media Manager in arranging regional coverage for overseas staff in the UK.
• Provide administrative, planning, and organisational support to the Head of Communications and other team members.
• Administer and curate the archive of MAF documents.
• Work with the HR team to collect and store data processing consent forms.

Scheduling and Planning:

• Update and maintain the organisation’s print and digital communications schedule in collaboration with audience managers.

Content Creation:

• Contribute to digital communications including website content and social media.
• Assist in creating monthly print and digital communication documents at design and proofing stages.
• Support design tasks such as picture editing and layout.
• Create subtitles for digital content.

Updates and Research:

• Monitor staff blogs for potential stories and produce a weekly roundup of social media posts.

Media Library Management:

Terms and Conditions

• Location: This is a hybrid role with two days at MAF UK, 1st Floor Castle House, Castle Hill Avenue, Folkestone, Kent, CT20 2TQ.  One day per week will be spent at our Operations Centre, MAF International, Henwood, Ashford, TN24 8DH and the other two days can be from home.

We are looking for a Partnerships and Volunteer Recruitment Manager, who is based in Ealing, to recruit volunteer mentors both out in the community and through forming  partnerships with key public and private sector organisations.

About the role

Our West London Partnerships and Volunteer Recruitment Manager (P&VRM) works closely with P&VRMs in Herts and Surrey and our Communications team, to promote the MCR programme to organisations and individuals.  The purpose is to recruit committed volunteers who will mentor a young person in their school for one hour a week during term time. Based from home, our P&VRMs work closely with the wider MCR team ensuring a balance of autonomy and support. The role will involve extensive travel around West London as well as to meetings, events and the Hertfordshire office are all reimbursed.

Key responsibilities:

• Recruit volunteer mentors to reach monthly targets both through engagement in the community and with organisations

• Source and attend in person and remote events to recruit volunteer mentors

Who we are looking for

Our Communications Services team is seeking a talented Communications Officer, Social Media and Digital, with a background in sustainable development, science or health communications. The successful applicant will be educated to degree level with at least a 2:1 or 1st class honours degree.

You will need to be creative with the ability to produce social media campaigns, digital content and videos, and lead the development of engaging websites to tell our clients’ stories. Plus, you’ll need to be highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks to coordinate and deliver a wide range of engaging communications materials. You should also be open to travel, as the role could require you to visit projects in Africa or Asia.

What you will do

You’ll lead our social media and digital services for international development and research organisations around the world, as well as coordinating and providing advice on a range of other communications projects – covering topics such as climate change, health, poverty reduction, social equity, agriculture, water resources management, and green cities. You’ll need to think strategically and creatively, respond effectively to emerging trends, and help our team develop and grow.

Your role will include:

• Leading social media and digital communications services: you will conceptualise, coordinate and deliver social media campaigns, videos, websites, newsletters and other digital products for our clients – leading innovative content strategies that drive engagement.
• Content creation: you will create social media content and assets, graphics, videos and animations. You will also develop design templates and mock-ups, format presentations and Microsoft Word documents, produce event materials and make website updates.
• Project management: you will be the main point of contact for specific clients and projects, gathering requests for new products and services, and coordinating content development and graphic design work with other team members to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. This may lead to overseas trips for some clients.

7. Strong creative flair with a strong understanding of best-practice design principles.
8. Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and cope flexibly with a range of jobs to meet (and exceed) client expectations.
