Community Engagement and Fundraising

Position Overview
The Programme Officer will support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Fobzu's advocacy and awareness, and building UK-Palestine higher education links programmes. This role involves working closely with the director, partners, managing projects, and ensuring the effective delivery of initiatives aimed at mobilising support for Palestinian universities and raising awareness about the challenges faced by Palestinian students and educators.

About the role
The Prospect Development and Donor Insights Manager is a new key position within the Development Office that will lead on strategic, data-driven insights to shape our fundraising strategy and maximise the University’s fundraising potential as we embark on the University’s biggest ever fundraising campaign.
You will manage the overall process of prospect development, including moves management and prospect strategy to support our fundraising campaign. You will provide strategic, data-driven guidance to frontline fundraisers ensuring optimal tracking and engagement of major gift prospect, including individuals, trusts & foundations and corporates, throughout the donor lifecycle. In addition, you will develop and strengthen a sustainable prospect pipeline in support of our fundraising campaign and fundraising priorities of the University.
Who are we looking for?
We seek someone with at least three years’ experience of prospect research and prospect management, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations. You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and strategically with individuals and teams at all levels and across functions. We need someone who has experience of writing profiles, prospect identification, media tracking and good understanding of the Data Protection Act. Experience of maintaining and developing a prospect tracking system on a fundraising database and experience of data analysis and data visualisation is also sought.

We’re seeking an engaging, organised and experienced individual to join our fantastic Mass Fundraising team on a 6-month fixed term contract!
This role is integral to the delivery of our ambitious Mass Participation fundraising budget. As a Customer Services and Central Administration Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with a professional and efficient service. You’ll handle inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure that every customer has a positive experience with contacting the MS Society. You’ll also be responsible for processing a wide range of different income types and supporting with the reconciliation process.

The Talent Set is delighted to be working in partnership with an excellent membership association as they recruit an experienced and proactive Product Marketing Manager to oversee the sales and marketing efforts for their expanding commercial product portfolio. As a key member of our small, dedicated team, you will be instrumental in developing and marketing Icon membership while delivering exceptional customer service. Specific duties
Membership services
- Processing membership applications.
- Maintaining accurate membership records on the CRM system (Ready Membership).
- Responding to enquiries from prospective members, existing members, colleagues and the general public within agreed customer service timeframes.
Data management
- Effectively use data analytics to understand impact and success rates and deliver informative regular reporting against agreed KPIs.
Content and communications
- Working collaboratively with the wider Icon Team to develop the annual communications plan in line with the annual operational plan.
- Developing, commissioning and delivering the production of content for Icon’s website and Social Media channels in line with communications plan.
- Maintaining and updating Icon’s website in line with analytics data and communications plan.
- Developing and issuing Icon’s monthly internal and external email newsletters.
Marketing
- Contributing to the implementation of Icon’s Membership Growth Strategy by assisting with the development of recruitment campaigns.
- Supporting the implementation of marketing plans and promotional ideas.
- Supporting the development of Icon’s Social Media strategy and contribute to Icon’s Email Marketing strategy by utilising external newsletters to support broader advocacy work and marketing lead generation.
