We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and organised Project Officer to join our Innovation and development team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing projects aimed at supporting unpaid carers and Carers First teams; at times working in partnership with other organisations. This role includes planning, delivering, implementing, and evaluating projects, to ensure they meet our strategic objectives and deliver real impact to the carer community.
This role requires a proactive individual with a passion to ensuring carers receive relevant and essential information bespoke to their individual caring situation. The ability to work in co-production and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, and interest in driving forward the delivery of the Carers First Strategy, to reach and provide better support to more carers.
As a Project Officer, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering programmes aimed at enhancing the support we provide to unpaid carers. You will work closely with our team, partners, and stakeholders to ensure our projects meet the highest standards.

Oasis is looking for someone who can combine an entrepreneurial flair and excellent leadership skills to become the next Community Hub Leader supporting the established Hub at North Bristol.

This role comes at an exciting time with the opportunity to lead the growth of MQ’s Development Team as we expand our capacity across all these areas of income generation. MQ currently has at least one role under each area and there is desire, supported by the board of trustees, for further recruitment to strengthen each as needed.

Here's a summary of your key responsibilities:
- Provide inspirational leadership to the MQ Development Team, managing the current team of five to deliver our £3m 2025 budget

- Build and monitor annual Development Team income and expenditure budgets and work with MQ’s Executive to provide regular updates against progress and reforecasting as needed
- Drive innovation in fundraising activity in order that MQ can stand out – improving current approaches but also developing new behaviours, projects and activities to win new funding through excellent stewardship and cultivation
- Capitalise on the expertise and networks of MQ’s senior volunteers, including working closely with MQ trustees and other Development Team colleagues to maximise existing opportunities for introductions, including the Lord Mayor’s Appeal
- Develop MQ’s ability to carry out targeted and systematic research to establish new high value prospects utilising existing networks, the MQ database, search engines and referrals
About you:
This role is for you, if you have fundraising experience with grants and foundations as well as corporate fundraising and/or new business acquisition experience. This means you will have experience in stewarding and securing new gifts from foundations as well as researching new opportunities to apply for funds.
You will also be skilled in understanding and translating complex information and turning it in to compelling written proposals, for grants, corporate partnerships and major donors.
You will be driven to ensure that projects are delivered to the highest possible standards and be a sophisticated communicator with the confidence to build relationships with and inspire colleagues and donors.
We do require someone who is proactive, hardworking and results-focused.
Experience of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge/NXT is desirable but not essential.

Benefits
Flexible working: As a mental health charity, staff wellbeing is of paramount importance. We operate a core hours policy (10-4) to encourage flexible working and staff are mainly home based with the requirement to come into the office two days per week. A standard full-time working week is 35 hours, plus an hour for lunch breaks.

Who we are looking for:

You will be joining the Woman’s Trust Fundraising team as we work towards our strategy 2022-2027, to double our income and the number of women we support each year. We are focused on developing innovative mental health services for young women and girls, launching peer-led support groups and providing therapeutic groups to children and their mothers. We are also committed to developing further awareness-raising workshops and training for professionals, building on our research and policy to improve systems nationally.

Purpose of the job
The Head of Policy & Public Affairs is responsible for leading UK Youth’s influencing work with Westminster, devolved administrations, and local government. They will lead our advocacy for ambitious and actionable policies that will help unlock youth work for all young people. They will ensure that our policy recommendations are informed by the strongest available evidence, meaningful youth involvement, and the expertise of youth workers. Working closely with the Policy Manager and our Senior Leadership Team, they will develop strong relationships with external stakeholders within the youth sector and government to gain buy-in for our policy priorities.

As the audience insight manager at TCS, you will help us to put our audiences at the heart of everything we do. You will use your knowledge of our target audiences, the wider charity market and our brand to inform effective and creative decision-making on campaigns and activities.
You'll help us to optimise activity and innovate by bringing insight together from a range of sources (primary and secondary) to ensure we are always audience first and insight led. You'll be responsible for horizon scanning and trend analysis to ensure colleagues across social impact stay abreast of new developments in and outside the sector. And you'll oversee our brand tracking and audience testing and will be responsible for managing and delivering qualitative and quantitative research projects liaising with external agencies as well as internal stakeholders.
With previous experience in an insight, strategy or research role, you will be an expert at interrogating qualitative and quantitative information; able to pick out the most useful points and build a persuasive strategy through effective story telling. We are looking for a new member of our Bereavement Services team, to grow our capacity and help us reach even more people bereaved by epilepsy. Our bereavement services are provided for free, completely confidentially, to anyone who needs us. Often via telephone or email support, though we also have a thriving and complex Casework Service, helping bereaved navigate the inquest or investigation into their loved one’s death.
This new position will provide first-hand support to the existing team of 3, learning from their experiences and expertise about how we support people bereaved by epilepsy, and how this way of working influences the work we do across the charity.
You’ll be learning the ropes from day 1, getting stuck in with any tasks needed to help support the Bereavement Services team – this could range from admin tasks, answering initial enquiries from bereaved supporters (via phone or email), and will eventually lead to you taking initial calls with bereaved supporters, sharing with them the different ways the charity can support them, and helping us understand how best we can help them. There is a real potential for this role to grow and develop with the right candidate.
This is a Hybrid / Remote role. The SUDEP Action offices are based in Wantage, Oxfordshire. All staff are expected to visit the office every 6 weeks for a team meeting as a minimum.
