We are looking for someone to join our Public Fundraising Team as a Senior Challenge & Public Events Officer, to independently manage and have overall responsibility for leading on the planning and delivery of a pilot bespoke running event happening in May 2025. 

The ideal candidate will have experience of project managing large-scale events with exceptional organisational skills; developing multi-channel marketing plans; developing and delivering complex stewardship journeys, and have strong relationship management skills. 

Please note that this is an 8-month opportunity, of 21 hours per week. Due to the time-sensitive nature of planning this event, we are looking to have someone in post by mid-October. Please take this into consideration when submitting your application.

About the role

As the Account Manager you will contribute to and effectively support our global programme partnerships work, to achieve Save the Children's strategic objectives.

The focus of the role will include maximising the impact of SCUK's relationships with the UK Government including Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), ensure effective knowledge management and capacity building for the UK Government account internally – including for UK Government funded programmes, pipeline and influencing work.

 About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Skills in partnership management and market assessment in relation to overall positioning with partners.
• Experience, interest and knowledge of current thinking and future trends and thorough understanding of international development issues.
• Proven experience of providing creative and innovative approaches in developing new initiatives that contribute towards partnership objectives.
• Experience in relationship management, working with Governments, donors, trusts and foundations, or equally demanding partners.
• Experience of undertaking industry trend and donor specific research, finding relevant, reliable, and up to date information quickly.
• Ideally knowledge of and experience working directly with Governments and other key factors such as multi-lateral institutions e.g. their structures, operations and priorities (geographic, sectorial, thematic, at policy & advocacy levels).

We are looking for a new Chief Executive Officer to work with the Board of Trustees and senior leadership team to lead the organisation through Refuge’s next strategic phase, reshape the strategy and ensure all aspects of our work are laser-focused on achieving the vision. Capable of bringing together survivors, staff, trustees, external partners and wider supporters, you will galvanise those around you to imagine a world free from domestic abuse and steer us closer to it. You will be responsible for leading all aspects of our success, drawing on your deep experience to ensure above all that our services are safe, effective and survivor-led.

Inspiring and dynamic, you will bring experience in a similar role, including running a complex organisation with a substantial change agenda and front-line operations and will have a strong commitment to feminism, empowerment, support and equality.

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to lead an HR function within the UK’s leading fostering charity and membership organisation.

Position: Head of HR

Location: Homebased OR in any of four offices (London, Belfast, Cardiff, Glasgow). Occasional travel to London will be required.

Salary: £47,000-£52,000 + London Weighting if eligible

Contract: Permanent, full time - 35 hours per week

Populo Living is a development and housing company wholly owned by a single shareholder, Newham Council. The role of Head of Finance – Treasury and Financial Planning will lead, manage and co-ordinate the provision of the Groups Financial Planning, Treasury Management Services and Management Accounting functions as well as assist the Finance Director to lead and manage the Finance team.

The role:

• Lead, manage and motivate a team of four with two direct reports.
• Lead on all treasury related matters for the group such as arranging new funding, loan compliance, cashflow and banking.

About the role:

The role plays a key role in developing and delivering our media & communication strategy both internal and external, supporting the Head of Media & Communications. The role is key in ensuring that the public, partners, stakeholders and our people are informed and engaged with the work of Drinkaware.

The key areas of responsibility are:

· Planning, implementing and evaluating Drinkaware’s media and communications activities

· Raising Drinkaware’s profile and voice in the media

Supporting Social Media & Content Officer in developing and growing our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, X and LinkedIn).

· Manage Drinkaware’s press office, responding to enquiries, maximising coverage, drafting media releases and providing an out-of-hours system on occasion.

· Manage key organisational communications related to Drinkaware’s positions, in conjunction with the Head of Policy and Public Affairs and the Director of Evidence and Impact.

· Manage, review and update Drinkaware’s lines to take; its ‘boilerplate’ messages and its standard responses.

· Advise others on Drinkaware tone of voice and brand to help ensure all content leaving the organisation is on brand and enhances our reputation.

· Contribute to feeding media and strategic communications activity into the organisational planning process and overall plan.

· Contribute to key reference documents (organisational key messages; editorial guidelines etc)

· Work with Drinkaware colleagues to maximise our communications’ reach and ensure we are working in an efficient and integrated way.

· Work with the Head of Media and Communications to develop Drinkaware’s reputation positively across all media, mitigating reputational risk and leading on crisis management
