Key Responsibilities:

This includes planning, setting objectives, and overseeing tactical delivery with a focus on continuous improvement and budget management.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience in developing and implementing successful commercial marketing strategies, including content creation, multi-media asset development, and the use of CRM systems for marketing purposes.
• Strong expertise in executing a range of marketing tactics to achieve project KPIs, such as email marketing, advertising, social media, and direct mail, with a solid understanding of GDPR compliance.

We are looking for someone to join our Public Fundraising Team as a Senior Challenge & Public Events Officer, to independently manage and have overall responsibility for leading on the planning and delivery of a pilot bespoke running event happening in May 2025.

We are looking for a Governance & Operations Manager to join our small but nimble team to support our governance activities, and manage facilities, health & safety and IT at our small Central London office.

Leukaemia UK and You 

This is a new part-time role combining operational management of our small office based in Central London, with supporting and developing the governance activities of an ambitious and growing charity.

Hands-on experience managing the operations of small to medium sized organisations is essential, particularly facilities and office management, health and safety, and IT (working with an outsourced IT Support provider).

You will support the CEO and Director of Finance & Resources with governance activities including preparing for and running board and sub-committee meetings. You will need to be a confident minute-taker with a good eye for detail, and have experience in collating high-quality board paper packs.

Human Practice Foundation (HPF) is searching for a UK Country Manager to join the team and further establish the organisation in this market. The charity’s mission is to work sustainably and holistically to build schools and bring 1,000,000 children into a safe and empowering educational environment, with a focus in Nepal and Kenya. 

The UK Country Manager will prioritise continuing the growth of the charity’s funds and will work with an existing network of trusts & foundations and philanthropic individuals, as well as continuing to spread HPF’s message.

Role purpose and dimensions:

Human Practice Foundation (HPF) is an International NGO, founded in Denmark in 2014 by former corporate lawyer and HPF CEO, Pernille Kruse Madsen. After witnessing the devastating fates of girls being trafficked from Nepal to India for sexual exploitation, Pernille decided to commit her life to providing education and opportunities for those who need it the most.

The organisation employs 90 people and follows a holistic community approach, using schools as a platform for change. To date, Human Practice Foundations has raised over USD 20 million globally (£2 million in the UK since 2019). HPF utilised this funding for more than 100 school projects supporting over 40,000 children, their teaching staff, families, and surrounding communities. The context for this role: 

This new position, created to lead HPF’s mission in the UK, and lead Trust and Foundation fundraising efforts globally, is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter to build on HPF’s success and grow its income from UK and international foundations, institutions and corporations, as well as UK-based high net worth individuals. 

HPF seeks a highly motivated, experienced and successful fundraising professional with the vision and skills to develop and deliver a new three-year fundraising strategy, taking UK income from £270k per annum to £500k+. RESPONSIBILITIES

People (HR)

• Manage and maintain HR policies, procedures and practices including the employee handbook, ensuring they are up to date, recorded, filed and adhered to (i.e. personnel contracts, DBS, volunteers, holidays, sick leave)

• Utilise the Core Operations budget with help from the Operations Assistant to ensure Wen is maintaining photocopier, stationary supplies, liaising with our landlord about rent, maintaining phones, health and safety, fire procedures, utilities, rates and insurance.
• Oversee the IT Coordinator to ensure licenses are up to date, IT issues are solved promptly and IT developments and changes across our two sites and hybrid team are tracked

Finance

• Work with Finance Manager and Head of Organisational Development to establish strong financial processes and policies and ensure staff are aware of the relevant ones
• Liaising with our Finance Manager on day-to-day accounting as and when necessary 
• Managing the Core Operations budget including approval of expenditure (as a signatory) and cashflow preparation for the coming financial year
• Checking and collation of monthly payroll information

People Support

• Managing the Operations Assistant and IT Co-ordinator.
• Supporting volunteers as required and oversee managing our volunteer database.
• Supporting Wen team with HR and other Operations-related matters.

Along with any other reasonable tasks and duties deemed relevant to the role.

The Role

As the Senior Fundraising Manager, Grants & Tenders, you will play a vital role in driving the growth of voluntary income, with a target of reaching £5,000,000, and expanding the reach of the Family Hub services across the UK. This role is not just about numbers—it's about transforming lives.

Our client’s homeless shelter provides emergency accommodation for up to 12 single homeless people in St Albans each night.; their dedicated staff team offer a trauma-informed, safe environment which is person-centred and supports beneficiaries to access the help they need. As Service Manager, you’ll support your team and be responsible for overseeing support, advice and assistance to beneficiaries who are/have been living on the streets so that they are able to access and maintain a safe and secure home of their own.
