Your role will involve responding to supporter requests, questions and queries from a range of communication channels, including email and phone, helping to deliver a first-class supporter experience. This frontline role is contributing to the development of the fundraising team to reach unrestricted income targets.
You will report directly to the Director of Supporter Marketing, and work closely with the Database team on a range of activities.
You will have excellent customer service skills and previous experience in a similar role. You will be well organised with meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities:
- Holding and covering the role of a Store Manager on an interim basis wherever required within our Central Area shops

- When supporting or covering stores, to ensure that the Hospice’s operational, health and safety, people and volunteer policies and procedures are being followed

What we are looking for:
- To be able to be flexible, pro active and to be able to adapt to ever changing needs
- Ideally, you will bring previous retail experience, gained at managerial / supervisory level

- A genuine interest in fashion and charity retail

About the charity: Cavernomas look like raspberries and are found in the brain and spinal cord. They're formed of abnormal blood vessels with thin leaky walls, which can bleed at any age without warning. 1 in 625 people are thought to have a cavernoma, and whilst most people won't experience symptoms 1 in 2,700 do. Symptoms can include haemorrhages, seizures and other neurological problems. Treatment involves 'wait and see', neurosurgery or stereotactic radiosurgery; with no medications currently available.

About the roles: The Member Support Assistant is responsible for assisting our Volunteer Manager with administration relating to the support of the charity’s 4,000 members and volunteers. This includes offering a professional service to members of CAUK, typically via phone, email, online, chat, or on occasion in person. As and when time permits in between events the post-holder will also assist with some general office activities, including posting t-shirts/fundraising packs to fundraisers and arranging Zoom meetings.

The Role
The role of Shop Manager involves actively running our new shop in Hull and implementing processes and ways of working.
