What will you be doing?
As a Fundraising Coordinator, you'll be the charity’s expert in supporter care, managing donor enquiries and processing of financial gifts (whether online, over the phone or by post). You’ll oversee a varied and interesting workload from supporting the department with general administration duties and carrying out legacy administration, to supporting with fundraising events/activities and writing engaging thank you letters.

We are looking for a new team member to provide full administrative and programme support to the Employment & Careers team. The role will involve supporting the team in the day to day running of the service including the preparation of contract documentation (such as registration forms, as well as specified supporting evidence: ID proofs, Proofs of Address etc.) for submission to funding partners, uploading data spreadsheets and CMS systems, and supporting the team with promotion, outreach and engagement of our services. Our Technical Knowledge team oversees Blue Ventures’ technical pillars (Secure Rights, Community-Based Fisheries Management, Food Security and Financial Inclusion) and supports the use of data for decision-making, providing tools, training, and guidance to partners and Blue Ventures’ staff around the world. This team integrates expertise and deep practical experience with pragmatism and a desire to enable others to deliver lasting change, by distilling global best practices and knowledge into usable tools, appropriate training, and responsive guidance and support. The team is also responsible for delivering peer learning exchanges and knowledge-sharing events both online and face-to-face across the organisation, in addition to overseeing technical publications.
We are currently recruiting for an exceptional individual to be part of this global team, leading a critical pillar of the strategy on Community-Based Fisheries Management. This individual would oversee the development, refinement, and roll out of tools and training to support partners working with communities around the world as they establish community-based fisheries management and locally managed marine areas. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the complex challenges facing tropical coastal fisheries and the small-scale fishing communities that depend on them. They will have practical experience of working with coastal communities in Africa, Asia or Central America, and partnering with civil society organisations, non-governmental organisations, government institutions, and other stakeholders to identify and address fishing issues, placing communities at the heart of the solution.

We are recruiting a Peer Support Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of Peer Support sessions and work with Peer Support Volunteers to develop new opportunities. Main purpose of the role:
The Deputy Service Coordinator splits their time between the office organising rotas, liaising with families, social services, and health care professionals, and providing a minimum of 20 hours a week of direct support, as well as one weekend a month on the rota, depending on the needs of the service.
The role requires the postholder to take responsibility for being on call between the leadership team. There is an additional payment for on-call duty.
You will deputise for and support the Service Coordinator in leading and managing a community group comprising of a range of services for people with a learning disability and a team of support assistants.
The Deputy Service Coordinator supports the Service Coordinator in creating Community and leading the service delivery within the group in line with their values and standards and the requirements of the Care Quality Commission [CQC].

About the role
An exciting role to deliver a tailored package of support that will help Reigate and Banstead Council to increase levels of active travel in the area. You will engage with schools, workplaces, and communities to support and enable more people to walk, wheel, cycle and scoot for local everyday journeys, instead of taking the car.
As the Project Officer, you will plan and deliver fun, innovative and engaging activities such as mapping safe routes, leading rides and walks, practical skills sessions, competitions, initiatives and information events. The range of activities, events and resources will be adapted to meet the needs of the different audiences and will be designed to be inclusive so as many people as possible can benefit from the project and more local journeys can be travelled actively.
This role will require you to work with a range of people across local and diverse communities, workplaces and schools in Reigate and Banstead. Creating relationships with key people and employers, understanding the barriers, challenges and opportunities to actively travel. You will be working closely with others to develop a programme of activities.
You will have the opportunity to give people confidence, enthusiasm and skills to travel more actively, through events and community activities.
You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people such as school or community travel champions, local authority colleagues and other Sustrans delivery officers.
Within the role, there will be an expectation to capture the impact of the project through completing reporting and monitoring, writing case studies, capturing quotes and photos and contributing to an end of project report.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.

You should have experience of working with children and young people within a community setting and delivering physical activities to groups. Your knowledge of the local area will help you form relationships with a wide range of organisations, groups, and individuals.
