Summary of Role:
The Head of Donor Development & Impact is crucial in driving Choose Love's strategic and financial growth and impact. Choose Love has a fundraising target of approx. £20 million a year, this role plays a crucial part in securing those funds through donor development (approximately £5-10m) and specifically with Trusts & Foundations. You will help Choose Love achieve its strategic objective to increase and diversify income by driving donor engagement, fostering sustainable partnerships, and enhancing our impact reporting to ensure transparency and accountability in our grant-making initiatives. We are seeking an experienced Impact Analyst to support The Seafarers’ Charity to evidence, report on, and communicate the impact of our grant-making.
The post holder is responsible for analysing and reporting on quantitative and qualitative data from our grant-making, monitoring and evaluation, and research activities. This role involves managing the ongoing monitoring, evaluation and reporting of our grant-making to showcase its impact.
Key responsibilities:
- To lead on the annual monitoring and evaluation process for all grant awards. Including requesting, reviewing and extracting relevant information to produce consolidated reports.
- To lead on reporting the impact of the work of The Seafarers’ Charity to an external audience and specifically, external funders. This includes regular reports on the Lloyds Register Foundation’s funding of the International Fund for Fishing Safety, amongst other projects.
- To contribute to the improvement of data collection and classification to magnify the charity’s ability to demonstrate and evidence its impact.
- To establish processes that support improvement in collection and collation of data and reporting on data.
- Sharing and publishing grants data using the 360 Giving Data Standard.
- To analyse, interpret and report on the impact of our grant funding programmes for internal and external audiences.
- To creatively translate data analysis into a range of communications (including reports, dashboards, insight reports and case studies) that are compelling to an external audience.
- To respond to colleagues’ requests for data, statistical evidence and case studies.
- Establish, uphold, and promote best practices and standards around data collection, data management, and statistical reporting, while utilising an equity lens and remaining compliant with GDPR

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, as Chief Executive you will oversee the Trust’s operations, champion its mission and ensure its influence and impact. Lincolnshire Crisis Service have two houses in the county, one in Boston and another in Lincoln, we provide a range of support for people with mental ill health and both work to a recovery model. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards. This role does require you to work varied hours as the service is 24/7 and may include some sleep in shifts, these are paid in addition.

The Opportunity
WorkWell is a government funded programme that offers an early-intervention work and health support and assessment service. This provides holistic support to overcome health-related barriers to employment, and a single, joined-up gateway to other support services.
We work in partnership with mental and/or physical health clinical teams, GP practices and other referral partners who refer clients who are currently in employment but are experiencing difficulties in the workplace and require assistance to help them return to work, remain in work or find new employment. This programme will also support those who have fallen out of work to get the support they need to return to employment. That support will be tailored to their specific needs and circumstances.
We need a team of four Work and Health Coaches to provide highly effective support to individuals and guide them on their journey to returning, remaining or finding new employment while also supporting them to improve their health and wellbeing. The Work and Health Coach will also be instrumental in supporting participants to remove health related barriers by sourcing and funding appropriate interventions.
There is a total of four roles, with three full time and one part time, Work and Health Coaches.
Who we are:
Founded in 1992 by a group of mental health professionals, Working Well Trust was established to address the issue of low employment rates for people who have experienced mental health issues. Since starting we have seen advances in the specialist support offered to people seeking employment and a change in cultural attitudes towards mental health.
In the last few years we have adapted this approach to work with people with Autism (ASD), people with learning difficulties, physical disabilities or complex issues including homelessness or addiction.
We focus on four main areas:
Employment Support – offering support that meets the individual’s needs using both the traditional stepped approach and the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model.
Employer support – enabling the recruitment and retention of their employees.
Social Enterprises – we offer training within social enterprises for people who want to gain a new skill, increase their confidence and be part of a team.
Business and Enterprise support – providing one to one advice to clients who wish to start up or expand an enterprise.
Co-production - Working Well remains committed to the principles of the recovery model and continuously improve its services through co-production.

Development and Renumeration

Founded in 1960, The British Society for Haematology is a registered charity and professional membership body. The object of the Society is to advance the practice and study of haematology and to facilitate contact between persons interested in haematology. The Society has over 3000 members consisting of doctors, scientists, nurses and allied health professionals specialising in the field of haematology. The Society has the British Journal of Haematology as its official journal and supports the haematology community through its educational resources, events, grants and guidelines as well as advocating for the profession.
The Role
The Volunteering Support Officer is a new role and will work as part of a small friendly team. They will be the lead administrator for the Early Careers Forum and the Global Haematology Special Interest Group (SIG). The post holder will work with volunteers to arrange and minute meetings and prepare agendas and papers for distribution. They will be responsible for SIG webpages and co-ordinating ebulletins to keep members up to date with SIG activities.
The post holder will recruit volunteers for committees and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) following our governance rules. You will act as the main point of contact for volunteering queries and ensure volunteers’ records and SIG membership are up to date using subscriber database.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise workload. You will have experience of organising and minuting meetings, updating website pages, using a database and GDPR experience and awareness.
Please note, although this role is hybrid you will be required to be office based as and when the business requires. You will also have to occasionally travel and stay away from home to support volunteers’ meetings including at our ASM which includes weekend working.

We are looking for people to join this exciting pilot as Assessment and Reconnection Workers. The service delivers a new approach to preventing rough sleeping, through the provision of accommodation with onsite specialist move-on support to those who are at immediate risk of sleeping rough. The service will provide a route and support for single homeless clients who are presenting to the Local Authority Housing Options or day centres who have not been sleeping rough yet but who are at imminent risk of this happening.
Where homelessness cannot be prevented by the council a referral can be made into the Rough Sleeping Prevention service, which is run across London to support as many people as possible. The service will work in partnership with the local authority to secure onward move-on options e.g. access the council private rented sector (PRS) scheme, advocating for access to supported housing.
In these roles, you will work across 2 of our London locations in Islington (24/7 Assessment hub space for up to 15 clients), and Lambeth (medium support accommodation).
Each site will have a team delivering casework and support, providing each person with a comprehensive assessment of their needs and circumstances, and intensive specialist support to secure move on. In the rewarding role of an Assessment and Reconnection Worker, you will:
- Be part of a busy team environment working closely with those new to, or at risk of rough sleeping.
- Provide a personalised case management service to clients, turning assessment recommendations into practical action plans which fully involves the client.
- Build and maintain effective relationships to support clients throughout their recovery.
- Work on the 7 day weekly rolling rota including early middle, and late shifts.
About you
These roles will suit people with experience of working at pace in a public facing environment with the ability to adapt to new situations.
- An understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerable people and the difficulties they experience in accessing services.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with others whilst managing your own time.

This includes the funding of specialist medical equipment to ensure our brilliant surgeons and clinical staff have the most up to date and cutting edge technology available and funding hi-tech distraction equipment designed and proven to reduce pain and anxiety in our patients. We have recently closed our Surgical Neonatal Appeal, having successfully raised our £3m target towards a brand new, state of the art Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the hospital. This year we will be fundraising towards a new Same Day Emergency Care Centre, providing an unrivalled experience for our patients and their families.
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy corporate partnerships team. The postholder will work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and wider Charity team to deliver the corporate strategy.
Areas of support include management of incoming enquiries, team support for events, administration tasks for the team and supporting corporate partners.

Supporting the team with events such as Dragon Boat festival, Golf Day and Christmas Light Switch On and hospital tours for donors/potential donors.

Support in the development of marketing assets both digital and non-digital. This could include including copywriting, editing, and proofreading.

Monitor marketing resources, such as leaflets, to ensure stock levels are maintained.

Some management of low value corporate partnerships as agreed with the Corporate Partnerships Manager.

Assist with the arrangements to ensure that all donors receive outstanding stewardship to establish long term commitment to the Charity.

Attend presentations and charity days to speak about the charity from time to time.

Undertake other duties which may be designated from time to time by the Senior Team to achieve the Charity’s objectives, including representing the department on occasions, functions and events as required.

*The charity is currently conducting a four-day working week trial, due to end on 31st March 2025. This means that, for example, staff previously working 37.5 hours a week are now working 30 hours a week to enable a four-day working week. The trial is monitoring the benefits of a four-day working week against productivity. We are confident that by embracing a more flexible and balanced approach to work, we can continue to create a thriving and fulfilling work environment while driving growth and success for our charity. Next steps will be agreed before the 31st March 2025, based on an assessment of the trial period; the four-day working week trial may be ended, extended or adopted permanently.
This fixed term contract is for 14 months at 28.13 hours per week. As part of our 4-day working week trial (working week Monday to Thursday) working hours required will be 22.5 hours per week if you opt to sign up to the trial and its associated conditions. If the trial was to end after 31st March 2025, the working hours required would return to the contracted weekly hours for this role of 28.13 hours per week. As part of our staff charter, we have a flexible working policy and can consider accommodating a flexible working pattern such as school working hours if requested.
