Sitting in a high performing team of five the Workforce Development & Training Officers will work together to deliver all aspects of the team’s operational work which achieves the objective of growing the workforce in our specialties, clinical oncology and clinical radiology. In this broad role you will encompass supporting both trainees and their trainers through their programmes. You will be self-motivated, able to build your expertise in the relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks within which they operate and apply that expertise across a wide portfolio of activity. As new initiatives evolve and become business as usual, the work of operations will evolve.

What you’ll do:

• Provide tailored advice on all matters that might affect a trainee’s status and training time using expertise in the regulatory frameworks associated with specialty training in the UK.
• Proactively work with WDTO colleagues to ensure trainees and trainers are adequately supported.
• Review and prepare CESR and MTI applications for assessment by the specialist committee.
• Manage and deliver the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) recommendation process.
• Provide a timely, customer-focussed and responsive service.

• Detailed understanding (or the ability to rapidly acquire it) of UK legislation and GMC regulations and procedures in relation to entry to GMC registers and the right to work in the UK.

Job Purpose: 

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the continuous development and delivery of a specialist service working in partnership with Central Northwest London NHS Foundation Trust, providing enhanced support to women with mental and physical health needs preparing to leave prison and resettle back in to the community. This project takes a trauma-informed, person-centred approach to support and works together with partner agencies to provide a bridge from prison to the community.

This post provides operational management of this project across the three women’s prisons in Surrey – HMP Bronzefield, HMP Send and HMP Downview and a community service delivery area of London and the South-East of England, ensuring quality standards are consistently met, staff are effectively managed, partnerships are maintained and contract KPI’s are delivered.

Role Purpose: 

Work Well is a government funded programme that offers an early-intervention work and health support and assessment service. This provides holistic support to overcome health-related barriers to employment, and a single, joined-up gateway to other support services. 

We work in partnership with mental and/or physical health clinical teams, GP practices and other referral partners who refer clients who are currently in employment but are experiencing difficulties in the workplace and require assistance to help them return to work, remain in work or find new employment. This programme will also support those who have fallen out of work to get the support they need to return to employment. That support will be tailored to their specific needs and circumstances. 

We need a Work and Health Coach to provide highly effective support to individuals and guide them on their journey to returning, remaining or finding new employment while also supporting them to improve their health and wellbeing. The Work and Health Coach will also be instrumental in supporting participants to remove health related barriers by sourcing and funding appropriate interventions.

Main Roles

• To provide advice and casework at OISC Level 2/3 on immigration, nationality and asylum law.
• To provide supervision to Immigration Volunteer

Specific Duties

• Manage a complex caseload across the field of immigration, nationality and asylum law.
• Adhere to casework procedures as outlined in LRMN’s policies, the OISC and / or Solicitors Regulations Authority (SRA) standards and the Advice Quality Standards (AQS).
• Interview and advise clients regarding immigration and asylum law procedure, and practice in a sensitive and professional manner.
• Maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with OISC registration or similar professional body, e.g SRA.

We’re looking for a mid-weight Graphic Designer to work in-house to create artwork for marketing and communications campaigns across a wide range of media, including print, digital, animation, and video. Our Little Stars project for 0–12-year-olds has been established for over 5 years supporting younger members and their families with their diagnosis and beyond. We also have a growing Teen membership known as FIRE (Friendship, Independence, Resilience, Equality) Working alongside our multi skilled, established team, you will be supporting members across all age groups and building on the great foundations already in place. 

We are looking for an Early Intervention Project Worker who can cover the South of England, primarily you will be home based, supporting members through phone calls and using online platforms.  You will be required to attend clinics, events and meet members one to one where necessary within your allocated area and occasionally across wider areas and nationally.

• To deliver Shine's Little Stars (funded by The National Lottery Community Fund) project for 0–12-year-olds, supporting early years and younger members with their families, their diagnosis and beyond across the Southern Region. • To create a community whereby those affected by spina bifida and hydrocephalus can connect with others, are empowered through knowledge and feel confident in the support networks surrounding them.

Praxis has recently significantly scaled up its campaigns and communications work. We are looking for a new Stories and Media Coordinator to join our Fundraising and Communications team, to help ensure that people with lived experience of the immigration system are the driving force of our dynamic communications work, whilst also building the organisation’s profile and amplifying our systems-change work.

You will play an integral role in the Fundraising and Communications team in an ambitious organisation.  

We are looking for the below skills and experience:

· Strong experience and understanding of working with experts by experience in communications, media and storytelling work, including excellent understanding of safeguarding and risk management;

· Significant experience of developing and maintaining good relationships with a range of journalists;

· A sharp understanding of what makes a strong story;

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;

· Ability to build relationships and rapport with a wide range of people.

About the Service

The Sexual Health project was piloted in Islington and the project has expanded and will now cover Camden, Haringey and Barnet. From late 2021, the Sexual Health project covers a further three sexual health clinics in North London and will continue to provide high-quality holistic support to survivors of sexual abuse and violence who approach the sexual health clinic. As with all Islington SASS services, the Sexual Health project is inclusive to all survivors, but this project has a specific focus on increasing the engagement for LGBTQ+ survivors.

About the Role

We are looking for a Sexual Health Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocate to sit in the Islington SASS team and co-locate in a Camden Sexual Health Clinic. As a IDSVA you will provide immediate support for victim/survivors of domestic and sexual abuse attending the clinic including carrying out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and providing short-term support and onward referral. In addition, you will act as the Sexual Health lead for Solace in for Camden, providing advice and guidance to Solace staff and Sexual Health professionals.

The Sexual Health IDVAs also hold a caseload providing one-to-one support to high-risk victims/survivors at the point of crisis as well as those at standard and medium risk levels, co-ordinating multi agency support and providing practical solutions.

You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with external agencies in your work.
