The Development Programmes Assistant is a newly created role in the team and will work closely with the whole of the Development programmes team in providing effective programme administrative support.

Job Title: Systems Analyst (Salesforce) 

Salary: £43,000   

Contract Type: Permanent, ideally, full-time (35 hours per week) although part-time or flexible hours may be considered 

Working location: Home based. The post holder should expect to come into the London based office a maximum of three days per quarter.

The latest research suggesting that the number of children and young people at risk of hunger has rocketed to three million means that one in five children don't have enough to eat.    

When a child is too hungry to learn, when they’re aching for something to eat, they can’t concentrate. They can’t absorb information. Big feelings and worries can be impossible to control. They fall behind in their studies.   

Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma.    

Magic Breakfast are ambitious to grow our impact to remove hunger as a barrier to learning for all children and young people in the UK. To do this, we need to continue to grow our fundraised income, of which new corporate income is a significant element.   

JOB PURPOSE  

We are seeking a Salesforce expert who is looking for an exciting opportunity to play an instrumental part in the implementation and ongoing development of Magic Breakfast’s technology and data transformation. In this multi-faceted position, you’ll lead on shaping scalable solutions that will enhance operational efficiency and enable accurate data-driven decision making. 

Your expertise will be critical in shaping how the organisation gathers, analyses and utilises data to automate workflows, generate reports and dashboards, and ultimately achieve our strategic objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   

System analysis and development

• Lead on the development and optimisation of the organisation’s Salesforce environment to meet evolving business needs and enhance operational efficiency 

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions 

• Provide expert advice and guidance to influence and shape solutions that effectively handle data collection, data aggregation, workflow automation, and reports utilising Salesforce

• Support the integration of Salesforce with other systems in the organisation’s infrastructure (for example, Business Central, FormAssembly, fundraising platforms etc.) 

• Contribute to the delivery of business process automation roadmap to support organisational objectives

• Gather and analyse information and feedback to support future development phases of the solution. 

System administration and user support 

• Provide support for core services by handling incidents, undertaking investigation, working with colleagues to confirm bugs and providing clear and timely communication with users; triaging points for escalation to the Systems and Data Manager 

• Create and maintain a comprehensive Salesforce backlog, prioritising enhancements, bug fixes, and feature requests while ensuring effective management of technical debt to maintain system health and scalability

• Lead contact for day-to-day relationship with external Salesforce support partner; escalating to the Systems and Data Manager where necessary

• Monitoring and governing day to day user activity 

• Reporting on platform health and user engagement 

• Keep up to date with technological advancements and proactively make suggestions for improvements

• Create technical documentation and deliver training across various levels of Magic Breakfast. 

General:   

• Contribute to team meetings, sharing best practice and supporting team members where necessary

The Finance and Operations Officer will provide general support to the Head of Finance and Operations across the following areas: 

Office Management

• Managing day-to-day relationship with landlord

• Ensuring office meets all health & safety requirements

• Supporting with new office search and move to new premises

Terms and Conditions

• Location: Money and Mental Health’s central London office for at least 2 days per week with option for home working the rest of the time. The office is wheelchair accessible.

• Hours: 3 to 4 days (22.5 to 30 hours) a week. The charity has a flexible working policy with core hours of 10am - 3pm and remaining contracted hours distributed throughout the week flexibly. We are open to discussing other flexible arrangements, such as accommodating school runs.

• Holidays: 28 days p.a. (including 3 days of annual leave between Christmas and New Year when the office is closed) plus bank holidays, adjusted for the part-time nature of this post and therefore calculated on a pro rata basis.

When it opens, the Schwarzman Centre will bring together seven faculties from the division under one roof for the first time. This fundraiser will work closely with senior academics in the Humanities Division. Growing Hope is a charity providing free therapy for children and young people with additional needs in partnership with local churches across the UK. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus. Growing Hope was founded in December 2017 and has a vision to see 20 clinics set up across the UK by 2030. Job Purpose 
Growing Hope is a national charity with a growing number of clinics across the UK. This operations role will provide support across the Growing Hope national staff team. This will include support with administration, finance, fundraising and training. This role is key in enabling all the functions of the national charity to run smoothly and effectively. The role will be based in King’s Cross with occasional events outside of the office.

Main Duties and Responsibilities 
Duties and responsibilities will be discussed and developed as the charity continues to grow. It is anticipated that this time will be flexible and adjusted according to the needs and priorities at the time. Specifically the role with include: 

IT administration

• Administration of IT systems, logins and spreadsheets for the team, volunteers, staff and freelancers (keeping these up to date and amending systems as required).
• Ordering and setting up IT hardware and software for individuals joining the team.
• Oversight of IT systems used by Growing Hope including ticket tailor, jot form, mail chimp, Microsoft office, google adverts and tracking. Supporting with problem solving when issues arise. 
• Overseeing and training others in Canopy (clinic administration software) and helping support and problem solve with using this. This includes liaising with a freelance software developer to manage the development project.

HR administration

• Oversight of the recruitment checking process for new volunteers, trustees, freelancers and employees. This includes carrying out DBS checks, calling referees, chasing for references and communicating with individuals as they start with Growing Hope.
• Management of the ‘internal news’ list in order to track individuals working closely with the charity. 
• Writing, drafting and sending out HR letters, contracts and contract variations. 
• Organising internal events on behalf of the team including away days, training days and ad hoc events. 
• Organising online training as required for members of the Growing Hope team.

Office Support

• Overseeing the day to day office and building use including the alarm, maintenance visits, wifi, printer and other equipment. This includes liaising with other individuals who have office use.
• Liaising with the Director of Operations around the use of the office.
• Ordering office supplies as required, ensuring office space and storage is kept organised. 
• Supporting with external events planning including finding venues, sponsorship and items needed.
• Ordering equipment as required across the team.
• Ad hoc tasks as required across the team. 

Volunteer admin support

• Processing volunteer applications and induction as required. 
• Oversight of volunteers using the office space on a day to day basis. Including allocating volunteer tasks and explaining and supporting with these as required. 
• Managing volunteer IT access. 

General 

• Sending letters and emails and making phone calls as required.
• Logging all actions on Salesforce database.
• Maintain data protection & confidentiality in line with Growing Hope’s policy.
• Ensure adherence to Safeguarding and wider Growing Hope policies.
• Actively contributing to staff prayer meetings and upholding Growing Hope’s Christian values.

Person Specification 
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working in the charity sector, an interest in additional needs and inclusion are highly desirable.

ESSENTIAL

• This role has an Occupational Requirement to be a Christian, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1, of the Equality Act 2010.  Excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to work with Microsoft word, excel, outlook and ppt efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to understand and work with back end IT systems such as wordpress, google admin suite and azure.

We are investing in this new position in order to centralise those diverse admin responsibilities, with the Income and Finance Liaison Senior Officer taking full ownership of the associated processes and deliverables, and helping to establish "best practice" to support the Charity in our next growth phase.

The Income and Finance Liaison Senior Officer will contribute to the growth of upReach by working across the Income Generation and Finance teams contributing to a wide range of income and finance related activities. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and External Engagement you will work closely with the Director of Finance, CEO, Finance and Programmes teams, and colleagues across the income generating and external engagement team;  supporting them to meet financial targets, provide excellent stewardship and to  implement key administrative and financial processes. 

The core responsibilities include: 

Income generation and External Engagement

• Ownership of a range of administrative tasks, including stewarding of donors and partners and support of the Development Board.

• Promptly addressing incoming queries from supporters and partners, including email, telephone and post; assist the team by managing;

  • Departmental email inboxes

  • Prioritising requests and responding where appropriate

• Oversee the management of contracts with partners and funders; generate, issue and follow up in a timely fashion.

• Support the timely production of monthly management reports.

• Play a key role in the complaints procedures for the department and conduct full investigations where needed.

• Work with the team to ensure all relevant data is created and maintained regularly and accurately on the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database.

Finance

• Act as the key liaison point between the income generation and finance team.

• Work with Finance to identify and find solutions to bottlenecks in the purchase order, invoicing and payment process.

• Ensure that money coming into the charity can be identified and coded accurately on the CRM database and finance systems.

• Create and maintain accurate records in the finance system, including billing values, timings and dates.

• Work with colleagues across the department and organisation.

• Lead and support rotatees (Team members on the Graduate scheme) and volunteers as required.

About the role
 

The Corporate Relationships Executive provides administrative solutions and support to the Business and Industry (B&I) team, with a particular focus on supporting our work with Corporate Members. Reporting into the Head of Corporate Relationships, this role works closely with the Head and three Corporate Relationships Managers, and the wider B&I team, to ensure the smooth running of our membership network and other stakeholder relationships. This includes taking the lead on planning and drafting all communications, event and meeting management, project managing the development of new materials, and being a point of contact for our members internally and externally. 
 

The role is London based at the EngineeringUK offices at 10 Lower Thames Street, London EC3R 6EN and will involve some (approximately quarterly) travel in the UK (including overnight). The Duty Scheme Support Officer performs a vital role supporting the smooth running of ASAP’s duty scheme. Our scheme offers free legal representation for people in the asylum system who need food and shelter, but have been refused it, or are about to be evicted. Your work will help to ensure people are not left homeless when they are entitled to support.

We need someone with professional social media and marketing experience who is passionate about driving the Sophie Lancaster Foundation forward.
