The need for good mental health support is growing, as are our funding needs and ambitions. This newly created position of Relationship Fundraising Manager is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative fundraising team as we look to develop major donor fundraising further.

The role will be responsible for overseeing all individual donor relationships, with a focus on major gifts. This includes developing and implementing a major donor strategy, as well as assisting the Head of Fundraising with corporate fundraising. You will be encouraged to use your experience and skills to shape the role, making a difference to the lives of hundreds of people attending Oakleaf every month for support.

Position: Relationship Fundraising Manager

Responsible to: Head of Fundraising & Engagement

Location: Guildford, Surrey with hybrid working offered (min 40% office, 60% home as agreed); we will accommodate flexible working patterns wherever possible

Hours: 28-36 hours per week (36 hours is full time; part-time considered for the right applicant)

Salary: £32,000 – £34,000 FTE (dependent upon experience)

1. Manage recruitment, stewardship & retention of individual supporters with a goal of long-term financial support.

What could my day look like?

The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.

In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.

As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort.

WellChild, based in the centre of Cheltenham, is the national charity for seriously ill children and their families. We fund
programmes and services to make it possible for children and young people living with serious illness to be cared for at
home instead of hospital.

We are looking for a part time Information & Advocacy Community Support Worker in Scotland.  You will be home based living in the North of Scotland.

You will ensure that service users (children and adults) and their families, receive high quality support, from the point of diagnosis and throughout their journey, and will assist them to access funding, equipment and care and support that they are entitled to. You will join a team that makes a real difference to the lives of the people living with muscle-wasting conditions, and their families, in Scotland. The role will be primarily home based, but there will also be a requirement to attend outpatient clinics within the region, attend home visits where appropriate and to support responding to queries through the helpline and information inbox. Some travel will be required to attend meetings and events outside of Scotland. You will work with both statutory and voluntary organisations, clinicians, and health and social care professionals to ensure that people living with muscle wasting conditions get the care and support they need to live well and independently.

his role delivers one to one case work including ongoing support to resolve both immediate and crisis situations, in the main relating to welfare benefits, referring to appropriate support agencies and other ICCM services promoting a multiagency approach. The aim of the service is to empower people through access to appropriate support services and improve quality of life, health and wellbeing.

· Delivering client focused, culturally appropriate support services for the benefit of members of the Irish community in Manchester on an appointment office basis, drop in service, and on outreach for those with mobility issues facilitating access to mainstream health, housing, education and employment services.

• To provide support to members of the Irish community who are vulnerable through age, poor physical or mental health, homelessness, risk of homelessness, drug/alcohol use, offending, hate crime, social and cultural isolation etc.
• To complete an initial assessment of Service Users’ needs, presenting issues and risks, making onward referrals to statutory and other voluntary support agencies as appropriate for people to access specialist support
• An understanding of how to deal with people who have experienced trauma.
• Inputting all client based work onto the CMS; maintaining accurate and up to date case files and reporting.
• To facilitate the successful running of ICCM’s health and well being activities as required.
• To promote the wider work of ICCM, facilitating pathways to support where needed.
• To be aware of and maintain best practice in safeguarding.
• To commit to continuous professional development and keep up to date with best practise in the sector.
