We are seeking two enthusiastic, organised and digitally savvy people to join our Administration team, for 20-30 hours per week (each role). We are looking for people with skills in administration, event coordination (digital and in person) and membership support.

You will have an excellent approach to customer service and have demonstrable experience of being a great team player, with the ability to collaborate with and support other team members across a broad remit. Strong organisational skills are a must and we would love to hear from candidates who have experience of successfully managing varied workloads while maintaining great professional relationships.

You will have extensive experience in the planning and delivery of events, both online and in person, including using Zoom and Teams for the delivery of professional webinars. You should be able to get to grips with new systems (including bespoke ones) quickly and be creative and confident in identifying and suggesting new ways of working with those systems.

You will be self-motivated, flexible, and trustworthy. You will be able to thrive in a remote work environment and should be committed to fostering strong professional relationships built on collaboration, curiosity and mutual respect.

Role Description

• Administer EMDR events and consultants training, ensuring smooth execution and participant satisfaction

• Organise and be the administrative point-person for CPD events and workshops, both online and in-person where necessary 

• Administration of the CPD points application process 

• Coordinate with regional and special interest groups to organise and promote events 

• Provide administrative support for membership-related tasks 

• Develop an understanding of the accreditation process and support the Accreditation Admin Assistant where needed 

• Collaborate with colleagues across the Association to ensure efficient operations 

• Occasionally attend committee and board meetings. An ability to take meeting minutes would be valued but is not essential. 

• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends for event management 

• Knowledge and experience of using Zoom and Office 365 suite is essential

An exciting new position has arisen for a Finance Administrator to join the team at International Seafarers' Welfare and Assistance Network, an international not-for-profit maritime organisation working to improve the lives of seafarers and their families with services, resources, strategies and advocacy. We are looking for candidate/s with suitable accounting or bookkeeping qualifications, experience of using accounting software and CRM systems such as Quickbooks, Xero, Salesforce, or GlueUp.  This role requires excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Key responsibilities and responsibilities of the role include:

• Maintain the purchase and sales ledgers
• Respond to supplier and client’s queries
• Process supplier and sales invoices, staff claims and expenses
• Set up bank payments
• Bank reconciliation and journals
• Reconciliation of membership income with accounting software and CRM database
• Basic administrative tasks, such as keeping sickness and absence records, minute taking and filing.

The role can be full time (35 hours p/w) or shared (2 x 17.5 hours p/w). We are a fully remote working organisation with an optional one day a month in London SE1 or other central location.

Our Victim Awareness Course is a rehabilitative course designed to reduce offending through increasing victim empathy and improving attitudes to crime. As a Senior Administrator you will:

• Need good leadership skills in order to provide support to the VAC administrators and the wider team of trainers delivering the course
• Manage referrals coming into the project using case work management systems and work towards improving compliance
• Provide a high-quality administrative service whilst also being compassionate and non-judgmental, responding to queries effectively and efficiently
• Book venues for courses, raising invoices and requisitions
• Support the Operations manager with monthly and quarterly reporting and attending meetings

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

About the Role

St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, supporting and enabling them to access and receive physical and mental health first aid. We do this through developing and providing effective community response and outreach services (e.g. Ambulance response, Falls response, Night Time Economy and Homelessness outreach) and using our longstanding expertise to empower people with vital clinical skills and the confidence to use them (e.g. our Volunteers and Community Advocates, NHS Cadets and Young Responders programmes). There is also a buoyant social enterprise network which delivers first aid training and supplies medical consumables to businesses and consumers.

Job Summary

The Management Development Advisor will be delivering and implementing innovative training programmes for our employee managers in line with our HEART values. The role will be expected to positively impact and interface with all parts of our organisation and we are looking for someone who is passionate about developing managers and able to practically lead on delivering on our training commitments with the colleagues from across People and Culture and Community Engagement Network. They will be experienced within the field of Management Development and can confidently deliver management training, development and upskilling which builds our inclusive culture. 

About You

To be successful in this role, you need to be educated to GCSE level or equivalent (Grade C / 4) including Maths & English, minimum 5, Learning & Development / CIPD / Training / Teaching or similar relevant qualification, experience in Researching, creating, designing and delivering management development programmes and training  solutions including virtual and blended methods, Skilled and knowledgeable in the development of leaders and managers, learning and organisational development models, continual improvement approaches, methodologies and ability to deliver creative and engaging Management Development events through excellent training and facilitation skills.

About the Role

• Deliver in-house training, development and upskilling programmes which are aligned to meet organisational and individual needs, including induction, people policy, management development, bespoke development programmes for teams, personal skills and other training activities. You’ll take a blended learning approach, tailoring to different learning needs and styles for staff and managers.
• Collaborate with the People and Culture Leadership team to influence and surface organisational matters, to support the delivery of the People Plan, actively working with the Management Development Lead in the development of manager and colleague training and development initiatives ad upskilling to respond to management development improvements
• Train, Guide, coach and advise people managers on good people-practise during change and transition, including coaching, facilitation, mentoring, mediation, to support psychological safety, belonging and retention.
• Support and guide managers on managing their people, through the whole employee lifecycle taking a people centric approach.
