JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a Salesforce expert who is looking for an exciting opportunity to play an instrumental part in the implementation and ongoing development of Magic Breakfast’s technology and data transformation. In this multi-faceted position, you’ll lead on shaping scalable solutions that will enhance operational efficiency and enable accurate data-driven decision making.

About the role
The Community Programme Manager will bring their own experience and knowledge of outstanding community programming to build on and expand the current programme. The Community Programme Manager will manage partnerships with key stakeholders and develop new relationships with a variety of partners, from cultural institutions to new care settings.
The Community Programme Manager is a pivotal position within the small, dedicated and growing Art Explora team in the UK. The Community Programme Manager will be supported by a Community Programme Assistant and the volunteer community. We are looking for a candidate with management experience.

CAFOD, one of the 15 member agencies that make up the Disasters Emergency Committee, is the official aid agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales and stands alongside vulnerable communities across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
CAFOD is seeking a Governance Manager to temporarily support our Leadership & Governance team. Reporting directly to CAFOD’s Director and managing the Leadership & Governance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring effective governance, strategic leadership, and strong Trustee relations during this interim period. This is a part-time position requiring two days of commitment per week for approximately six months.
Key Responsibilities
During the period of cover, some of the key responsibilities include:
Governance & Strategic Leadership
- Providing oversight of CAFOD’s Governance work & assisting in the further development and funding of CAFOD’s governance.
- Identify emerging trends in governance and ensure that learning is reflected in CAFOD’s work and proposals.
- Working with the relative department heads to advise the Leadership Team on the likely impact of new initiatives on CAFOD’s current strategy.
- Ensuring CAFOD’s work is in line with Charity Commission requirements and ethical standards are maintained.
Engagement & Reporting
- With the Leadership and Governance Officer and L&G Assistant, to support the Director of CAFOD in managing the relationship between the Board of Trustees and Leadership Team.
- Ensure that all aspects of the Leadership Team and Board meetings are organised and conducted effectively in line with CAFOD’s governance principles.
- Providing strategic guidance and support to CAFOD’s Trustees and Leadership Team
- Developing a plan for the production of CAFOD’s Annual Trustees Report, and project manage its delivery.
- Assist with the external communication of CAFOD’s governance work with key donors and supporters.
Team Leadership

Accountabilities
There are three main activities within the France team:

Arthritis Action is the UK charity giving hands-on, practical help to improve the quality of life of people affected by arthritis. They offer an integrated self-management approach, which looks at both the physical and mental health impact of living with arthritis. This is a part-time role, 4 days a week (30 hours per week). This role is hybrid, with travel to the London based office two days a week (Monday and Wednesday). The salary range for this role is £45,000-£50,000 pro rata.
The Finance Manager & Company Secretary role is a dual role where you will ensure efficient and effective planning and management of the charity’s finances and take charge of secretarial duties. Within this role, you will develop and maintain accounting systems, control and records, while ensuring the charity is compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements. The postholder will ensure appropriate financial policy and procedures are in place, to deliver effective financial management and decision making. You will produce management accounts, oversee financial reporting and assist with legacy administration. You will manage relationships with a variety of external financial advisors and insurers.
You will play a key role managing the charity’s secretarial duties. These responsibilities include submitting information to Companies House and the Charity Commission. You will work closely with the Executive Management team, maintaining legal and financial documents, while ensuring they are filed securely, providing regular information/documentation. You will attend Board and committee meetings, ensure processes and regulations are followed and take minutes in these meetings.
To be considered for this role, you will have a professional accountancy qualification – ACCA, ACA or equivalent. You will have demonstrable experience overseeing preparation of statutory, management accounts and audit processes. You will have experience of charity accounting, reporting and legacy administration. You will have experience using accounting software and Microsoft Office. You will also have the ability to explain financial processes to non-finance staff.
You will have experience working in corporate governance and the ability to handle confidential information.
