About us
Who we are
We’re the MS Society – a community of people living with MS, scientists, campaigners, volunteers and fundraisers.
We understand what life’s like with MS, and we support each other through the highs, lows and everything in between. And we’re driving research into more – and better – treatments. For everyone.
Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.
Volunteer with us and join the fight to stop MS.
There are around 3,000 MS Society volunteers. Between them, they give many thousands of hours a year to make a difference to the lives of people affected by MS. Will you join them?
Our volunteers do incredible things to help people affected by MS. Whatever your talents, we need your help too.
Our culture and values
We fund world-leading research, share the latest information and campaign for everyone's rights. Together we are a community and together we can stop MS.
We understand what life’s like with MS. And we know together we are stronger. We’re researching, writing, campaigning and fighting. Running, walking, caring and talking.
Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
At the MS Society, we are committed to driving fairness and inclusion for the MS community so that everyone can live well. We recognise that equality—treating everyone the same—is essential, but it does not always address the unique challenges faced by people living with MS especially those who also belong to other marginalised communities. That’s why we sometimes focus on equity, ensuring that support, resources, and opportunities are tailored to individual needs. By balancing equity and equality, we work toward a future where everyone affected by MS can live their best life.
We commit to valuing and celebrating the diversity of our community. We will promote equity and equality, ensuring that equity, equality, diversity and inclusion (EEDI) is embedded in all we do. We stand against discrimination and will relate to everyone within our community.
