About us
Who we are
What we do
At Child Bereavement UK we help families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies.
We offer free, UK-wide, accessible online grief support to children and young people (up to 25) who are bereaved or facing the death of someone important, and the parents and carers of babies and children who are dying or have died.
We also offer guidance and resources for those supporting bereaved families, whether a parent, family member or friend, as well as tailored advice, training and education programmes for professionals.
Vision & Mission
Our vision is for all families to have the support they need to rebuild their lives, when a child grieves or when a child dies.
Our mission is to ensure the accessibility of high-quality child bereavement support and information to all families and professionals by increasing our reach and plugging the gaps that exist in bereavement support and training across the country.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
We want Child Bereavement UK to be the best place to come and work, and an organisation that feels as though it reflects the world we see around us in a modern, diverse, 21st Century Britain. We believe this diversity is an asset to be cherished, nurtured and grown. We are an organisation set up as an open access community service. Increasing the equality of access to that service is at the heart of our delivery model.
