JobLadder Ltd welcomes you to CharityJOB.co.uk, our recruitment portal for the charity and not-for-profit sector. These are our terms and conditions for use of our service, and these apply whenever you access the website. By completing the registration form and by entering your email address and password, you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

If you have registered with us and subsequently change your details, you should immediately notify us of any changes by emailing info@charityjob.co.uk. Any changes we make to the terms and conditions will be reflected on this page.

NB: JobLadder Ltd reserves the right to delete any accounts or ads on its websites where it believes that these are in any way improper or inappropriate, at any time and for any reason. 

1. Agreement

These Terms apply to Client’s use of the websites owned and managed by JobLadder Ltd ("JobLadder"): the on-line recruitment and information services offered through it ("the Service"). By creating an account, the Client accepts these Terms & Conditions under which JobLadder provides the Service.

2. Registration

Access to your account is via your email address and password. We allow you access to this area of the site on the basis that:

(i) your email address and password are personal to you and may not be used by anyone else to access charityjob without your prior consent.

(ii) you do not maliciously create additional registration accounts for the purpose of abusing the functionality of the site, or other users; nor do you seek to pass yourself off as another user

(iii) you comply with these terms and conditions.

If, for any reason, we believe that you have not complied with these requirements, we may, at our discretion, cancel your access to your account immediately and without giving you any advance notice.

3. Termination of registration

JobLadder Ltd reserves the right to delete any accounts or ads on its websites where it believes that these are in any way improper or inappropriate, at any time and for any reason.If we wish to bring the agreement to an end, we will do so by emailing you at the address you have registered stating that the agreement has terminated. The agreement will terminate and your email address and password will become invalid on CharityJOB immediately.

4. Third party material

Individual advertisers are solely responsible for the content of advertising material which they submit to us, including ensuring that it complies with relevant legislation. We accept no responsibility for the content of advertising material, including, without limitation, any error, omission or inaccuracy therein.

5. Price & payment

(i)The Client shall pay JobLadder for services described on the Account Registration Form in full and shall pay all applicable VAT and other taxes imposed on charges for Services made under this agreement.

(ii) All invoices are to be paid by the Client within 30 days of the date of the invoice, unless otherwise stated.

(iii) Where it has been agreed that the Client can pay the invoice in installments, if any installment is unpaid at any time during the agreement, then JobLadder can withdraw this facility and the entire amount outstanding will then become immediately due and payable.

(iv) JobLadder may charge interest on all sums outstanding beyond the date on which they are due for payment under this agreement at a rate of 2% per annum above bank base.

6. Client obligations & responsibilities

The Client accepts that, following any contact with Candidates:

(i) It shall be up to the Client and the Candidate to agree how to progress matters further;

(ii) That the Client shall act in good faith and in a business like and courteous manner; and

(iii) That the Client shall keep strictly confidential all confidential information disclosed

(iv) Where the Client is a Recruitment Agency they shall comply in all respects with the Employment Agencies Act 1973 (and all regulations made thereunder) and all statues, rules, regulations, codes of practice and legal requirements to which the Client is ordinarily subject in respect of its receipt and processing of CV's and related matters.

7. JobLadder Ltd obligations & responsibilities

(i) To provide the Services with reasonable care and skill,

(ii) To maintain Services on a 24 hour by 7-day basis (subject to periodic essential maintenance activity) to support Client’s online recruitment requirements.
